Since 2004.Twenty-one editions.
EverythingAboutWater began because India's water problems and India's water solutions existed in the same country and almost never in the same room. The exhibition is the physical form of that idea.
The platform is run by Earth Water Foundation. It started in 2004 as the EverythingAboutWater Expo and is now EAW Global Aqua Expo. In 2026 it reached its twenty-first edition, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, with 159 exhibiting companies and 5,261 registered visitors.
From 2027 it runs in two cities. That decision came out of one number in the 2026 data: 84 per cent of Indian visitors came from the North, and nearly seven in ten from Delhi and the National Capital Region. For a Delhi show that is a strength. For a national platform it is a limit, and the honest response was a southern edition rather than a bigger claim.
Alongside the exhibition the organisation runs state level water conclaves, an awards programme, a certified training arm and a publishing and knowledge business.

The 2026 edition published a post-show report with its data sources, its calculation method, its known conflicts and its gaps stated in the open. Where a figure could not be verified from a record, it was left open rather than rounded upward.
